Jim, Your website is a great service to the community. As a business development manager for a call center staffing firm, I really enjoy reading the updates. Thanks. With this said, I was wondering if you have a notification email or any other form of communication that could notify me when events occur in my region (Texas). I am assuming no, but I figured I would ask. If not, I will just plan too review the content of your site on a weekly basis. Once again, thanks for creating this resource! Thanks for your comments. Your idea for email notification is great and I will pursue it with the web design people. An email notification system for the announcements section has been discussed previously and now is an excellent time to review how this could be implemented.

Thanks for your question. You can go to the "List Your Business" button on the home page and select the option to List Your Call Center. Simply input the data in the specified fields and submit. There is no cost or fee to list a call center. This can done anytime 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

What is your reach with this site? I guess what I mean, how do you advertise or drive people to your site?
 
The site has over 60,000 visitors annually and receives about 1 million hits annually as well. The site has several linking policies in place and receives great editorial coverage.

I work within the Montgomery County, Ohio Economic Development Office (Dayton, OH) and would like to have some of our more attractive call center facilities listed on your site. Are you intersted in learning more about such facilities? Montgomery County has the requisite ingredients many of your clients desire, yet lacks the name recognition that many major metropolitan areas enjoy. We are looking to contract with an outbound call center that can use an autodialer to do a simple phone survey.

This does not take much english and we are very price sensitive.

What do you think is the least expensive outbound call center in the world? What do they charge per hour in american dollars?

Great Question! According to a 2004 study conducted by DMG Consulting, contact center staffing costs vary by country and will ultimately affect your hourly rate. The study compared the cost per hour per person and provides the following comparisons.

Australia - $25 -32
Caribbean - $18 -22
China - $13 -15
Eastern Europe - $26 -32
India $13 -16
Mexico $13 -15
Philippines $13 -18
Puerto Rico $18 -22
United States $30 -60

These figures can be factored into your decision however you should also review the experience of the outbound firm under consideration in conducting programs like yours. Ask for results, statistics and references before making a final decision. A test may be in order as well. I would be happy to assist you in your search.
